About Fire River GSD
Our Story
Our names are Jule and Chance. We are a husband and wife team behind Fire River German Shepherds.
Our passion for Shepherds started many years ago for Jule. She grew up in Germany where she first became familiar with the breed. Her first German Shepherd, a beautiful female named Djina, was gifted to her by her parents at 10 years old. Since then she has raised many shepherds and volunteered for a German Shepherd rescue where she walked and fostered dogs.
Chance met and fell in love with the breed when he met and married Jule.
Now we raise, train, and show these beautiful dogs together.
Fire River German Shepherds was started in 2021.
We have a strong passion for German Shepherds and continue to learn as much as we can about breeding, raising, and showing the best possible dogs.
Our Philosophy
At Fire River GSD the health, happiness, and safety of our dogs always comes first!
We will always prioritize the well being of our dogs when making breeding decisions. All of our dogs are kept up to date on routine vaccinations, parasite prevention, and other routine preventative care. In addition our dogs receive any other necessary veterinary care.
We perform a preventative gastropexy surgery on each of our dogs to minimize the risk of bloat.
Each dog is provided with exercise, clean water, and a quality diet each and every day.
Our Facilities
Our dogs are kept in a climate controlled building with heat, air conditioning, and humidity control. Some of our dogs live in the house with us full time. Pregnant and nursing females are kept inside the house until their puppies are weaned.
Each dog has their own spacious crate that allows them to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably.
Our outdoor facilities include 5 fenced yards where the dogs get to run and play for multiple hours per day.
